DENTIFY® Luxating Elevator Set
DENTIFY® Luxating Elevator Set has 8 luxating elevators in a single, practice-ready kit. Covering four blade widths across two working tip profiles, it gives clinicians a purpose-matched instrument for every extraction, from the finest anterior roots to the most demanding posterior molars.
Designed around the principles of atraumatic extraction, every instrument in the set works to sever the periodontal ligament cleanly and elevate the tooth with minimal force, reducing trauma to surrounding bone and soft tissue, shortening patient recovery time, and supporting better long-term outcomes for implant placement and socket preservation.

The Straight Profile
The four straight elevators cover the full spectrum of blade widths for direct, front-on access to the periodontal space. The 2mm tip navigates the narrowest root surfaces and tightest interdental spaces, while the 3mm, 4mm, and 5mm blades step up progressively in engagement and cutting power for broader roots, denser PDL attachments, and more demanding cases. Having all four widths available means the clinician always has the right blade for the root surface in front of them, without compromise.
The Down-Angled Profile
The four down-angled elevators mirror the straight range in blade width but are built for the posterior and anatomically restricted regions of the mouth. The angled working tip follows the natural curvature of the dental arch, improving access to distal and lingual root surfaces, reducing the need for awkward wrist positioning, and keeping the instrument shaft clear of the clinician’s line of sight. From narrow premolar roots to large, heavily anchored third molars, the down-angled set handles the posterior with the same precision as the straight set handles the anterior.
Benefits of the Complete Set
Always the right instrument – Four graded blade widths mean the clinician is never forced to work with an oversized or undersized blade, improving efficiency and reducing the risk of unnecessary trauma
Full mouth coverage – Straight profiles for anterior and direct access cases, down-angled profiles for posterior and restricted access cases, covering every region of the mouth
Consistent instrument feel – Every elevator in the set shares the same ergonomic hollow handle design, matt slip-resistant finish, and French stainless steel construction, so the transition between instruments during a procedure is seamless
Reduced extraction force – A correctly sized blade engages the PDL more efficiently, meaning less force is needed at every stage of the procedure
Better patient outcomes – Atraumatic extraction with the right instrument preserves more alveolar bone and soft tissue, supporting faster healing, reduced post-operative discomfort, and improved conditions for implant placement
Practice efficiency – A complete, matched set eliminates the need to source individual instruments across multiple suppliers, simplifying procurement and ensuring every instrument performs to the same standard
Sterilisation ready – All eight instruments are fully autoclavable and supplied in a fitted sterilisation cassette for organised, efficient instrument management between procedures
Working Tip
All working tips are precision-machined from French stainless steel, delivering consistent sharpness, durability, and corrosion resistance across the full set. The thin, blade-like profile of each tip allows smooth insertion into the periodontal space, clean PDL fibre separation, and controlled tooth elevation with minimal tissue disruption.
Handle Design
Every instrument in the set features the same ergonomic hollow handle, engineered for balance, tactile sensitivity, and clinical control. The matt slip-resistant finish ensures a secure grip in gloved hands throughout every procedure, and the lightweight construction reduces hand fatigue across a full day of clinical use.
Clinical Advantages
- Broadest blade contact in the straight range for maximum engagement on large root surfaces
- Exceptional cutting efficiency through calcified, thick, or heavily resistant PDL fibres
- Superior force distribution across the root surface, reducing peak stress on surrounding bone
- Fewer instrument passes are needed for complete PDL separation
- Stable, controlled elevation even in the most resistant and demanding cases
Clinical Applications
- Atraumatic tooth luxation prior to extraction
- Severing periodontal ligament (PDL) fibres in narrow spaces
- Minimally invasive and flapless extraction techniques
- Implant site preparation and socket preservation
- Paediatric extractions and tight interdental cases
Sterilization
Fully autoclavable and compatible with all standard sterilisation methods.
