DENTIFY® English Pattern No. 73K (Fig. 73K) forceps are used for removing mandibular first and second molars where extensive coronal decay or fractures prevent a standard forceps grasp. Vertical-hinge hawk’s bill frame, the 73K features uniquely profiled, deep-reaching parallel jaws that are intentionally separated (open-beak style). This architectural modification allows the pointed tips to bypass a collapsed crown completely, seating securely below the enamel line directly into the root bifurcation for a highly controlled, predictable expansion.
